![]() Through the strategic use of war, marriages and assassinations, among many other things, the players work to achieve success for their dynasty. ![]() ![]() Players are able to start at any date between September 15, 1066, to December 31, 1337. The game is a dynasty simulator in which the player controls a medieval dynasty from 1066 to 1453. Crusader Kings II stood out from earlier Paradox games in that it attracted a more widespread audience, contributing to the growth of the company. A sequel, Crusader Kings III, was released on September 1, 2020. On October 18, 2019, the video game became free to play. Set in the Middle Ages, the game was released on February 14, 2012, as a sequel to 2004's Crusader Kings. Big standard cheat mods are for one Sketchy Cheat Menu and second Slvrbuu's Cheat Menu.Īt a second thought the Bigger Interface mod is pretty great to increase several windows, which are otherwise pretty small and can be called required.Įverything else depends on your personal needs, i'd say.Crusader Kings II is a grand strategy game developed by Paradox Development Studio and published by Paradox Interactive. Only problem is that the game won't be as exciting anymore with cheat mods and dealing with surprising challenges is a core part. Okay your head will explode anyway the first few times, but cheats can help. Regarding beginners, i can only think of cheat mods if you want to have a little easier way learning the game and prevent frustration getting too much and your head exploding. Work differently with it later on isn't really that complicated. Not necessarily "epic" for of Life DLC as mentioned above and in likely most post of similar threads.Īll said above as well about Conclave. Well for some it may be epic, but."all the tools you wanted.". I cannot Recommend the Customization Pack enough and cannot say enough bad things about the ruler designer.Īnd DLC in general enhance specific playstyles in CK2Īll it does i a good way to customise coats of arms, change also higher title names and children names. The Customization Pack is a Very Cheep DLC that gives you all the tools you wanted or hoped the Ruler Designer would give you and it doesn't disable achievments. The Ruler Designer is garbage unless of course your a person who likes to Cheat and likes to have Achievements disabled. Its not really an upgrade and its not really a down grade it just sorta changes the fruit from being a Banana to an Orange and some people like oranges more then Banana's and some people don't. I myself was not a huge fan of Conclave with Time I came to except it but I still prefer the game without it. If you want the best Christian Playthru experience you would likely want.Ĭharlemagne, Sons of Abraham, Reapers Due, Monks and Mystics, and Holy FuryĬonclave is a special DLC in that While most every DLC PDX every release pretty much enhanced the game and every liked them.Ĭonclave is a special exception its a DLC that radically changes the base game and for many in not a good way. Sure their are some DLC's that enhance generalized play but most of them are some of the newest DLC's like ![]() Those are all their own DLC's to unlock them. Most DLC's in CK2 are what DLC's should be optional content that enhances a certain style of play.įor Instance You want to be a Viking or you want to be a Horse Lord or a Merchant Republic or you want to play as a Muslim. Way Of Life is the Only real must have DLC IMHO.
